word. this has been an insane week. INSANE. like let's make stephie crack week. so much homework to do, so many things to accomplish, school to attend, you know. and it's OVER. well, i have to work today, but that's not stressful yet. because i don't have to think about schoolwork for the rest of the night. *sigh*.

last night i went to border's for an hour and a half to hear this dude speak. his name is leland ryken, and he wrote one of my hermeneutics textbooks. i was really impressed. he talked about the spiritual effect of both secular and religious literature in his life and looked at the different types of literature in the bible. very cool. my professor also showed up to hear leland speak. i just want to say that if my hermeneutics/intro to philosophy prof was 30 years younger and had rozi's sense of humor i would marry him. don't take that weird or anything. this guy is one of the most intellectual people i've ever met. he's my favorite prof. he teaches so well and asks so many questions that just blow me away. and he's so humble about it too. you should come to chicago just to sit in on one of his classes. let me know, i'll hook you up.

more later. starbucks is calling my name. :)
