boo you, snow.i am thoroughly disappointed by the fact that we never seem to get blizzards around here at times that would affect my having to go into work. it looks like freaking Narnia outside. it sucks goats that i have to work at 5:00am tomorrow. pretty much until 6:00pm. urgh.
i leave for india in t-minus 5 days. amazing.
i can't say that i'm really excited about the heart holiday tomorrow. if i hear or see the commericials for the Vermont Teddy Beart Co. or for PajamaGrams one more time, i think i'm going to throw up. all of my favorite talk radio hosts are doing the ads for these supah cheesy v-day peddlers, and it's just... pathetic.
whatever happened to those little elementary school valentine's cards? you know, the ones with a picture of a bee on it that said "bee my valentine"? and remember how you used to decorate a shoebox and cut a slit in it, and then you would exchange the little cards with everyone in the class? those were the days. except for the sweetheart candies. you know the ones.... i mean, if it looks like chalk, smells like chalk, and TASTES like chalk.... it's probably... well... chalk. i swear, they've been recycling those things for the past thirty years, because no one eats them. if you or someone you know enjoys these morsels of grossness, i'd like to hear from you.

i love you dearly. your writing inspires me.
let us never forget our calling. may God unleash revalation on this calling to the forrunners of this generation! amen!
it's cool how you mentiond noah as probably being intense. that made me laugh becuase that is a main discriptive word poeple use for me on a regular basis. it used to make me grimace and long to be more gentle, (which is equally imprtant) but now i am starting to like being intnse..i think God wants his people to be intense.
just think if Christians were as intense about their Beloved Jesus as they were about their work week, their vacations, their trust funds, their wardrobes, etc. oh or if we were even as remotely intense about Christ as He was AND is about us!
what a challenging thought.
purity. i see purifying fires in so many lives in the church lately that i cannothelp but think that this is certainly God purifying Hid bride. certainly. and the urgency with which i sense this echos such a longing to see more of it!
and we cry more!
i love you. i will see you friday. when do you want me to head down to your place? shall we meet at borders?
