when andy, drew, and i were driving back from One Thing, we were talking about when we found out that santa/easter bunny/tooth fairy wasn't real.

my brother said that, when he was 8 or 9, he lost a tooth and told my dad about it when they were in the car going somewhere. without further ado, my father apparently reached into his pocket, pulled out some money, and handed it to andy.

on that fateful day, my brother used his acute sense of logic to reason that the tooth fairy did not, in fact, exist. he did not, however, let this revelation keep him from telling my MOTHER that he had lost a tooth. he proceeded to place the tooth underneath his pillow that night, scoring DOUBLE the amount of money for his tooth.

my brother is AWESOME.
