correction: apparently the lemon poppyseed muffin is back and better than ever. sorry for the misinformation, mr. irishman.
also, egg nog frappuccinos and oatmeal cookie frappuccinos are delicious. i will be contacting starbucks headquarters in the near future and expect to be generously compensated for my delectable discoveries.
i missed five phone calls tonight. three of the callers left messages. one of the caller's sole purpose for calling was to ask if my starbuck's apron has pockets in it. another one of the callers, who shall remain nameless but i will give you a hint: his/her name begins and ends with an "a", left a message on my phone wishing me a very happy birthday.
which was very funny because it's not my birthday.
it was a valiant effort, though, and i have to give said person props for remembering the day of the month. better luck next time. in january.
on another note, i am very exhausted from my midnight excursion to the final lord of the rings movie last night. freaking fantastic movie, friends. it was really rather cool to be in a theater with hundreds of other LOTR fans, all of whom applauded and cheered during the victorious battle scenes (and whenever the hot elf dude appeared). i left that movie feeling a sense of comraderie with my fellow movie watchers.
i didn't get home until 4:30. i slept for about two hours, then woke and completed my theology take home final, and then ventured on over to school where i proceeded to play a little three-song christmas set with two other chicks during chapel. i then came home, took a three hour nap, went to church, and now i am home again, barely functional.
i wonder if echinacea loses its effectiveness when it's chased by egg nog. chased as in washed down-- i know what you were thinking, and you were WRONG. :)
(here's me trying to avoid catching any sort of bug from the plethera of people that i come into contact with every day that are feeling icky.)
