what i really want to know is why colonel is spelled colonel but is pronounced KER-nel. has anyone else ever wondered that? is there any other word in the english language that has an "L" that actually sounds like an "r"? be honest with me. is there any logical reason why "colo" should sound like "ker", because i don't think that there is. not even in a different language. according to dictionary.com, the word colonel originates from the latin word for column, which, let's face it, sounds nothing like kernel.
also what i really want to know is why houston has to be so dang hot. seriously... it was like 97 degrees today, and that doesn't take into account the humidity. here all the white t-shirts you buy already come with armpit stains in them... i think i stole that from someone, but i don't know who.
another thing. if martha stewart goes to jail, will she continue to host martha stewart living from her cell? because, honestly, from day one her show has primarily catered to the relatively wealthy. if she, however, were forced to make due with the limited resources she would have in prison, then finally those unfortunate americans who own only a blanket and a toothbrush could finally learn how to fashion them into an elaborate solar-powered raft. and that would be a dream come true.
