chemistry. it's such a weird thing, happens in the strangest places sometimes. i stopped at lubepro yesterday to get my oil changed, and there was this guy who worked there. we talked a little bit about cars and other such things. and there it was. chemistry. strange. i'm not sure that i would have given a second thought to him if it was not for how he treated me. he's not hot, but cute. his mannerisms and speech were just very gentle. he smiles all the time. it was just... a different encounter.

i had to go back there today because i thought i left my sunglasses in the waiting room. and he saw me before i left and said hey. and there it was again. chemistry. comfortable conversation. turns out he's the manager there at lubepro. he wants to start his own full service auto repair business. he thinks i'm funny. he doesn't even know me and he asked how my day was and actually listened to the answer. could it be that he is in the 5% of men who are not completely self-absorbed? i guess we'll find out. he asked if i wanted to hang out sometime. and i said yes. weird. chemistry.
